Ingredients:

For the Meat Layer:

1 lb (450g) ground beef

1/2 lb (225g) Italian sausage

1/4 cup chopped white onion

1 1/2 cups marinara sauce (ensure it's low-carb, like Rao's)

3/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Cheese Layer:

1/2 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided

1 beaten egg

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

Additional Ingredients:

10 oz (280g) fresh spinach

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh parsley for garnishing (optional)

Instructions:

Prepare the Meat Layer:

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain the excess fat.

Add the chopped onion to the pan and cook until softened, about 3-5 minutes.

Mix in the marinara sauce, 1/2 teaspoon oregano, and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. Simmer for about 5 minutes.

Prepare the Cheese Layer:

In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, half of the shredded mozzarella, and 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese. Mix in the beaten egg, garlic powder, and onion powder. Set aside.

Prepare the Spinach:

In a separate skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the spinach and cook until wilted. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Assemble the Lasagne:

In an 8x8-inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce on the bottom.

Layer half of the meat mixture, followed by half of the spinach, and then half of the cheese mixture. Repeat the layers.

Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

Bake:
