This is where baked cheese and cheese crisps come in.
You can easily make these types of snacks at home. Here’s our recipe for parmesan crisps.
½ cup of finely grated parmesan cheese
Heat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius
Line a large oven tray with greaseproof paper
Place heaped tablespoons of your grated parmesan on the tray, leaving space between each one so they can spread out as they bake
Bake in the oven for 3-4 minutes until the crisps are golden brown
Remove the crisps from the oven and leave them to cool completely
You can store your parmesan crisps in an airtight container for up to 2-weeks at room temperature
Alternatively, you can store them in the freezer in a sealed bag, but be sure to squeeze out all the air so your crisps don’t go soft
